MEET Alexander
His passion for his craft is evident in the way he collaborates with producers to work within a project’s parameters, directors by translating their vision into visually stunning frames and communicating effectively with fellow crew members. He brings over two decades of experience that have honed a keen eye for details, quickly anticipating production needs, working within budgets well and training from several members of the American Society of Cinematographers and other world class directors of photography. Having come up working in many roles of production departments gives him a broad perspective that enables him to seamlessly work with others on set.
Alex believes being a cinematographer requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, artistic sensibility, and effective communication skills. It is more than simply operating a camera; it is about capturing moments and emotions that bring a story to life on the screen. As a skilled cinematographer he understands the power of lighting, composition, and camera movement in eliciting specific emotions and enhancing the narrative to meticulously craft each shot to create visual harmony.
